Like every week, Richo will be the great unknown this week and keep Ratten guessing as to where he will position himself. I think coaches still think he will line up in the FF position each week and are surprized when he actually does play on the wing. When he floats down into the forwardline it throw the backmen into a state of panic as they don't know who to defend - their direct opponents or the goal kicking legend.
He must cause a lot of heart ache to opposition coaches!

To compound the headaches is that our young forwards were danagerous last week so if the defenders don't pay them enough respect they could hurt them. Richo the utility has been the unpredictable factor we have needed for years - stark contrast to the 'Kick it to Richo' problem we once had! Ironic really  :)

A plus for the coach methinks.

Extend his contract for another five years and DO IT NOW.

So true and isn't it simply great!  Coaches must be pulling their hair out when Richo marks on the goal line - at the opposition end.

Nice post Stripes  :clapping

It's been almost impossible for the opposition to find a match-up that can go with Richo all over the ground. If they play a midfield on him then that opponent become a liability when Richo runs back inside 50. If they try a defender then he loses them in traffic in the midfield.

Richo and Tommy were also dolled up today at Punt Rd in 19th century gear  :lol for the release of stamps celebrating 150 years of footy.

Fev also mentioned that his best mate Newy doesn't have a date for the B&F so girls get on facebook and chat to Newy now.

??? I thought Chris Newman got engaged at the start of the year.  Why does he need a date?  And no, I'm not offering to escort him.

If it was Richo Julz would already have the evening gown picked out and flight booked  ;) ;D.

Perhaps Newy's fiancee can't make the B&F?
