Was Jake King really injured?
« on: July 02, 2008, 07:38:31 PM »
Has anyone heard a rumour that at hald time of the Melbourne game that Jake King grabbed Gary March by the throat and had a crack at him?

It was apparently as a result of Gary having too much to say in the rooms.

I believe that this is on the money.

It actually doesnt surprise me, he was always in the rooms before the game and at half time giving his ""two bobs worth"" , Now what Garys role again, coach or president ? ::)

march has been a good president, for what he has been able to do. money wise we have never been better!!!

However he is as weak as our captain when it comes to dealing with demetriou and his mates.

Does this guy ever speak or what??

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

Plenty of people in the rooms at half time for this not to have made the papers so I suggest its nothing more than a rumour made by someone with too much time on their hands. If it did occur, two things would have happened. The club would have made a statement that he was dropped for disciplinary reasons (meaning he would have played for Coburg) or nothing would have happened.

And even if it was true, some things are best left unsaid sometimes.
No need for this to come out.  I'm sure they can resolve their differences, if differences exist, by themselves and not have us arbitrate  ::)
