Summary....

* As well as the hammy you had a wisdom tooth yanked out?
Yeah had the wisdoms taken out this week. Feeling not too bad.

* Polly?
A big move for Polly being moved to rehab. Excellent news and another positive step for him.

* Tassie side in the AFL?
Gut feeling is it's a fair way off with the AFL indicating they want a team obviously on the Gold Coast and in western Sydney. But as a Tasmanian, I would love to see us have a team. Obviously we've provided some of the best players in the history of the game and we continue to provide a lot of footballers into the AFL. I hope it comes true one day. Probably when old and in a wheelchair. Commentator joked that Richo will still be playing.

* Knee?
Not too bad. A little bit of an issue for a month leading into the break. Really just needed the week off. Confident it'll come good with the weekend off. It's nothing major.

* You've had a great season so far. Did you do anything different preseason?
Started preseason a month later with the main group than he has in past years. 5 of us trained together for a month before joining the main group. We still did some work but we weren't at the club and weren't doing quite as much. So that perhaps helped keep the body fresh further into the season.

* Wallace has been under pressure results wise but has probably slipped under the guard. Do you as a playing group feel that pressure?
Wouldn't say Plough has slipped under the guard. Still made some positive steps although we went a little bit backwards last year. We turned over a lot players on our list and brought in a lot of young players. Have shown some improvement this year and with a bit of luck we could have won a couple more games. Disappointing last week but it's still round 14 and we are still in the hunt for the finals. So he would say there's been some positive steps.

* You are athletic but what about the adjustment to the speed of the game over the last couple of years?
You have to evolve quickly for sure in the modern game. Going up to the wing has helped me stay involved. In the forward line you can have periods in the game where you don't go near the ball for 10-15 mins. Bases his game on aerobic capacity and athleticism anyway so it was a good move.

* Who's the best side you've played this year?
Still believes Geelong is the benchmark. We matched them for 3 quarters but in the space of 15 mins they put a 6-7 goal gap between us. Some people questioned them earlier on in the year but the last month they have turned up a gear and will be favourites towards the end of the year.

* Second best then?
Swans are sneaking up. The way they play is conducive to finals footy. If they make the top 4 they will give it a real shake just from the way they play.

* NRL State of Origin?
Didn't watch it. Laughs how they make a big deal when the wingers takes a overhead mark when it's not that spectacular. Does enjoy watching it though.
