Restaurant Recommendation
« on: July 08, 2008, 09:17:10 PM »
Just got back from a Thai restaurant in Croydon.

Thai Chaiyo

Food, service and ambiance could not be faulted.

It was full (on a Tuesday night in Croydon)

I would highly commend the place to anybody who likes good Thai food.

 :cheers

Ate last night at an Italian restaurant in McCrae.  Food was fantastic, service was perfect. Only disappointment  was the $38 I had to pay for the wine. Normally I wouldn't mind but the same wine is $6.99 at ALDI.

Yeah we're already going to vote for him mate, you don't need to keep selling it.....

Farm Vigano in South Morang - very nice wood fired pizzas - service can be a little slow at times but on the whole if your not in a rush, very enjoyable.

2 beans and a Farm in Mernda is great for a weekend family breakfast

Plaka Greek Restaurant in Ivanhoe - awesome food

Intermezzo on the Bay in Black Rock. It's super cruisy and does everything. The owner is nice older Sicilian bloke and has some ripping gnocchi, pizza and pasta on the menu. It used to be outside the movies at Southland but had to move to Black Rock. I was talking to the owner last time and he said it's because the centre jacked up their rent by 40% which was pretty dog considering how long his restaurant was in there.
