Depends on who we replace him with...

Knowing us we will get someone who does a worse job..

Hearing Cameron Schwabs name mentioned here and there gives me the willies...

So is Free going to be the superstar recruiter/Board member ?

effen :rollin :wallywink

Wouldnt think so, won woodens spoons at Prahran and Yarraville. coaching record is worse than yours brackets ;)
This is what you wanted, Jack, so stop trying to distance yourself from it.
You and your mates are responsible for this kneejerk reaction by the club.
 :banghead

You are deluded,, go and seek medical help.
Has nothing to do with me. I have nothing what so ever to do with Tony Free.

she keeps saying you & your mates Jackstar, who are your mates, she keeps mentioning that phrase

The lady needs medical help Monk, if she thinks the Miller sacking was big, wait till whats around the corner.
She should book herself in now.  There might be a few front of her that will require help, lol

Geez jack, give it a rest.

You have been predicting his sacking for 3 years

Eventually he will be moved on, it happens to all coaches, for FFS if you say you predicted it, when it eventually does happen, probably when his five years are up, no poo, you will really prove that you are a d!ckhead.

I have never seen such a "richmond supporter" so outwardly giggling with glee like a schoolgirl when there is even a scent of instability, no wonder this club has been so crap for so long, mate, grow up and face facts, its people like you that are the problem, you are not part of the solution
 :pray

You know why I am crapped off, I want to be RFC be successfull.
How the stuff can I be the problem., I am not trying to protect a contract worth $600,000 a year , am I.
I am sick to death of people having a go and me for me having an opinion.
The RFC has under performed for long enough.
Whats of interest is that Gary March is sick of it as well, and as President he is doing something about it.
Miller had to go, NOT UP TOO IT, full stop.
And there are others who have bluffed there way into positions at the club that arent up to it either, they will be gone at years end.
Blaisee, you no doubt like Greg Miller, personally I dont. and I have my reasons

to be honest jack, it was time for GM tobe moved on, 2 spoons in 6 years he had to be held accountable. The way its been done is
1. unneccessary
2. disspointing

He should have been managed out at the end of the year.

Wallet on the other hand is doing a superb job IMHO, we are the most exciting team in the league, we kick poo loads of goals, we tackle, we win the ball out of the middle, we have a cery very exciting core group of young players

This year especially wallet IMHO could not have done better so far. We should be supporting him

I half agree with you Blaisee and would like to be proved wrong.
Would love to see the tiges successfull.
This Saturday will see where we are at, and I give us some chance to,
If they want to put up 6-1 , I might have a whack at it.
If we are going to beat the Cats, Telstra Dome is the venue.

i know last time we played the cats there they killed us, but i think we are a chance

if we can keep our turnovers to a bare minimum, im sure we will our fair share of clearances and contested footy, and i reckon our pace can expose the cats.  but its all up to the turnovers, we cannot afford to turn the ball over

the fact that we are playing last years premiers ( that won by 20 goals) and beat us by 130 points last year, and we are the reigning wooden spooners, and that we are a chance in this game, speaks volumes for how far we have come.

Wallet has performed miracles this year. Absolutely outstanding effort all round.

If we hadnt sacked miller mid season, our performances would be all over the papers, instead we have to put up with the same old crapp :banghead

why didnt we go for Balme a couple of months back he hadnt resigned with Geelong. Now he has a new deal with Geelong, Balme would have been good in this role at Richmond.

Yep Ramps. And a couple of months ago at least it would be understandable to make the change with the side at 3.5 wins from 12 rounds even though it still should've happened at the end of the season. Nah they choose a board meeting in the middle of a winning streak and with finals on the horizon to do it, putting the board before the team, and then when it leaks out they come up with some crap excuse that they would miss out on the best (Richmond) person if they didn't do it now  ::).

because wallace has one game plan and nothing else.
That has to be one of the most absurd statements ever made about Terry Wallace
Terry is known as an inovater for a reason, in fact some critics say his game plans and the amount of strategy he uses are too complex

NOW THATS ABSURD .
too complex come on ,he hasnt changed his style since hes been at the club .
its flawed especially with a young side there are far to many turnovers  .
he is not flexible and he is not an innovator. he is trying to play a geelong style of game .
and he doesnt mind copying other clubs game plans .
l dont see anything original that he has done .
and the way he coaches is not helping the younger players ,its giving them some bad habits especially under pressure .

So why does Wallace need to run classroom training on strategies?

You really could fit your football knowledge on the head of a pin and still have space left

Without even thinking about it too hard, how about the game against the, at the time, almost unbeatable Crows?
He was one of the pioneers of the mega-flood which beat the undefeated Bombers when he was at the Dogs
He used basketball maneuvers to rotate our tall forwards during an attack on goal

from today's Sunday Herald-Sun......

Ex-Tiger boss back in the game

Greg Miller's absence from the world of football has ended following two years in the AFL wilderness. The former Richmond board member and director of football has signed with Ricky Nixon's powerful Flying Start management agency as general manager.

he will fit right in with nixon what with both being spin doctors and all.

read this thread or last few pages anyway sheesh his spin sure had a few roped in. it was the same over on pre so many defended him for so long no one wanted to actually look at his performance recruiting list management etc.

sheesh i had some heated debates over this bloke going back as far as the end of 02. he and casey sure  hurt this club probably more than any other pair of individuals.
