Every year we have a win that stands out. This was it.
Every so often we have a win that many moons from now we will reminisce on and with fondness say this was unbelievable like the 95 semi 97 Pies on the Friday night 2001 against the Dogs at the Dome. Tonight was one of those games. I am still on a high.
Geez we go through the emotional rollercoaster. I reckon if there are medical statistics on heart attacks during footy games Tiger fans would head the list. Marvellous game sang the song with such gusto. A game with the end result that will live on through the ages for sheer drama. Such wonderful individual efforts from a few of our boys BUT WE NEED TO KEEP OUR FEET ON THE GROUND. THE MIGHTY BEAST AWAITS US NEXT.......

Daniel,
i see u a smart poster,so that drives me to the conclusion that Boowden is a master Bull Shirter
with years of experience and has even managed to blind you.

Watch the game and how he almost lost it for us by calling for and implementing tempo footy.

He was lucky to have kicked the goal cos if he didnt he would have lost the game for us  on two levels

one he misses the goal and 2 he could have been responsible for giving the lead back to brisbane because of his eagerness to play girly tempo flog me off footy RATHER THAN GRABBING THE GAME BY THE THROAT AND PLAYING SMART,SKILFULL FOOTY.

Geez Geez,

What a great gutsy win coming back from 25 points at 3/4 time  :clapping  :thumbsup. Yep the Dome went off when Joel kicked that last goal and everyone was jumping on and hugging each other  :D. I can't remember the last time we came back from such a big deficit in the last quarter. But geez you can do your head in watching us. A mixture of brilliance and stupidity rolled into one game :P.

WE are The Mighty Beast Hellenic. The Cats may be the best team and may be awesome at the moment and hats off to them but Richmond FC, The Tigers, are The mighty beast in AFL.

JOEL BOWDEN IS A STAR! AND A RICHMOND CHAMPION!

and yes, all the TAMBLING KNOCKERS CAN EAT THE BIGGEST HUMBLE PIE!  He was our only 4 quarter performer last night and thanks to him, the lions did not streak too far ahead in the 3rd quarter

RITCHIE, WELL DONE , KEEP IT UP AND PLAY THE GAME BY TAKING IT ON AS YOU DID LAST NIGHT!

TAMBLING WILL BECOME ELITE
DELEDIO FOR CAPTAIN ASAP!

Geez Geez,

nearly lost us the game  :lol lucky to have kicked the goal   :lol your a lunatic  :shh STFU
he was all over the ground last night,  ran miles was in everything hard tackles, leading, kicking goals, defending, hard running, in & under always lurking, l call that a very smart footballer, one of the smartest in the league playing

great  fast lead no defender near him  :lol & kicked the goal the team created, he did it under preasure of screaming fans & thats what his paid to do. The team saved themselves just Joel the cool player under preasure had the last chance for the win, its not about him its about a team.
what about when Joel forced a Brisbane error & layed that hard tackle in the last quarter which awarded a free kick for his efforts & he kicked a goal when we wanted it most, now thats what l call a match winning goal not the one that was at the end but the most important goal to keep us in the game

Slowed the tempo down he had too, brisbane held momentem at that time & because everyone was maned up they needed to break. why he held the ball in the air  :stupid
Bowden himself didnot lose control of the ball in that turnover cause he was on the other wing after it was switched
stop being a stuffwit & watch the game LIVE not on tv
OMFG watch the game fool  :shh Bowden showed you up again & the funny thing is his making you look stupid  :rollin

Joel Bowden is 1 player of the selected team, his a team player & they all won that game, his a great leader

Dont everyone forget the efforts of Richo, & many others. it was a team effort under preasure, we won the game against a side in the top 8  :thumbsup & we are now 2 points off 5th position OMFG

:cheers  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers  :cheers

But anyway thanks Joel your my HERO  :rollin :gotigers
The teacher teaching the students  :thumbsup who gets that one :lol

Yes Joel kicked the winning goal and three for the quarter, BUT...

We are 9 points ahead, probably about 6 minutes to go. Bowden marks on the wing/half forward line for us.

HE DOESN'T EVEN TURN AROUND TO LOOK AT ANY FORWARD OPTIONS!!! He immediately looks for someone behind him.

It was a blessing in disguise that the Lions got back in front with enough time for us to mount another comeback. It gave us a reason to start attacking again!

Now to the positives, great win, I thought we were gone. Loved Lukes shirtfront  :thumbsup

We could pick and choose moments from any players game and say they could of won us or lost the game.
Here are three players that you could say won us the game but you could pick errors.

Joel should not have started the ice the clock at that time
Richo made at least three costly turn overs that cost us
Tambo was caught a few times trying to do to much.

Yet all three had great games. We all have our favorites and non favorite players, I for one have a real love hate thing for Richo. Yet I will easy stand up and say he has been great this year and I have been wrong . Its about time a few of you come out and say well "so and so" was good tonight.

Anybody want to say anything about (oh I will list a few of the usaul ones that cop baggings)    Tambo, Joel, Sarge, Jordy, Patto.  Anybody ???

Great win guys, I think I will be one of those heart attack stats down the track though.
Here , kitty kitty. Here , kitty kitty.   AAAUGH!

Hopefully it's raised Joel's trade value to a first rounder
