Summary

* It was an amazing feeling on Saturday. Been on the other side of those games the last few years so good to be on the winning side. Joel's always cool under pressure.

* Good for our gameplan and the younger guys to put some solid wins together after over the last couple of years copping some heavy loses.

* Working hard with midfield coach Royal. Looking at video and seeing who will likely to tag him to learn about dealing with tags and breaking them.

* Improvement needed? Need to be more damaging as a midfielder these days. Just can't be a possession acculumator. Always working on that

* Backline is blending well under David King our backlien coach. Moore, Thursty, McGuane are all young. Jake King there also and even Newy is only 25.

* Geelong are such a great team and it's a massive challenge. We're looking forward to that challenge and to play some hard and consistent footy.

* Healy said not only do you obviously have to defend well against Geelong, to expose them you need to move the ball so quickly forward to give your forwards a chance. Richmond need to play like we did in the last quarter against Brisbane with the likes of Foley continually breaking away from his tag Ling to do it.

* They asked Foley about the off-field stuff and Foley said yeah ummm and then played a straight bat with we've just got to focus on us as a team.

* Foley says he watched Palmer closely this year and thinks he'll win the rising star.
