If they decide to give up pick 1 and 4 for Tarrant then the club can go and get stuffed.....Wallace and all !!  >:(

Tarrant is crap and I wouldn't give a 3rd rounder for him.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Agree Harry Hedjob.

Tarrant is a young man with issues ala Aron James.

How can we even contemplate overlooking brilliant young talen such as Deledio ETC.

There is a bit more in that rumour MT.      Ottens involved as well

Surely we're not that stupid Jackstar  :help. A trade like that would top the Pitura deal we did in the 70's as the dumbest trade of all time.

Tarrant is overrated like most Collingwood players. He's useless without Rocca in the Pies forward line with him and vice versa. One of the main reasons the Pies tumbled this year down the ladder. Tarrant especially goes missing up against good defences.

This is the story.
Tarrant to Melbourne.
Ottens to Collingwood.
Jamar to Richmond. and draft picks ! and another player perhaps.
Note, I didnt say that Tarrant was coming to us, who wants him . The pies want ottens though, the plot thickens

Dees - a fringe player for Tarrant - would need to give up a 1st round pick at the very least otherwise they are massive winners.
Pies - Tarrant for Ottens - would need to give up more otherwise they are big winners. I presume the Pies will hope to get the Dees first pick #14 and then pass their first pick #7 onto us for Ottens.
Tigers - Ottens for a fringe player + pick(s) +? average player.

Unless Otto wants to leave, IMHO we get screwed in that deal. If Guy Richards was chucked in somewhere I might then listen.

What about the contract that is supposed to be on the table?

I am confused and I have a headache and trade week hasn't even started yet  :lol

Contracts dont mean much these days. You can trade players that are contracted providing an agreement is done with the other club , otherwise we pay the ballance eg Ben Hollland, David Bourke, Nick Daffy etc
There will be draft picks involved.
Its funny that Ottens wants to stay at Richmond when a few weeks ago he wanted out . ::)
The pies are extremely interested.

Nah, don't like it.

Unless the pies throw in there first pick, the dees throw in Jolley and then we can talk.

Tigers get - Jolley, pick 7 (from Collingwood) and Melbournes 2nd round pick (pick 30 ?).
Tigers lose - Ottens

Demons get - Tarrant
Demons lose - Jolley, pick 30

Pies get - Ottens
Pies lose - Tarrant, pick 7
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

I like this deal best...simplest and best but wont happen

Tarrant to West Coast (this rumour is gathering legs)
Ottens to Collingwood (this rumour has legs)
Judd to Richmond (sadly not gonna happen)

but it would be the best deal orchestrated in the history of trading...3 stars changing teams in one go.....It would be great for all the clubs...

West Coast get the full forward they need
Collingwood get there ruckman
Richmond get a superstar midfielder and someone who can change the course of a game!
