Well looks like that confirms Cartledge will be delisted. Patto coming in for him along with Tivs.

I hope Rance actually makes his debut and isn't just an emergency again.

I reckon the silence will be deafening given he has turned on both clubs.

Finals beckon for Coburg Tigers

While Richmond will play its final game of the season against the Demons on Sunday, VFL affiliate Coburg is looking forward to a finals campaign, starting next week.

There will be plenty of talent on display this weekend, including Richmond-listed players Mark Coughlan, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls, Dean Polo, Daniel Connors, Cleve Hughes, Cameron Howat, Tristan Cartledge and Danny Meyer.

Also eligible for the 2008 VFL finals are Daniel Jackson and Greg Tivendale, who have been selected for Richmond’s final AFL match against Melbourne.

If you read into this, Connors will be dropped, Tivs and Jackson are in and no Polo either.

Makes no sense why you would drop Connors after having 15 possies when it was Edwards who needed one more game to qualify for the VFL finals  ???.

Hopefully the late chance brings in Connors and Rance for Edwards and Riewoldt

The Connors decision is strange. He has played well lately. Had Rance come onto the list a year earlier he would have been an immediate inclusion but now that our backline has been playing so well and he is still relatively undersized he will obviously have to wait until next year.

Why not give Richo, Bowden and Johnson a rest to allow some of young players a go.

Hard to understnad really

Keep Richo in so if we play finals next year he might be able to still reach 300 in 2009.

Hopefully the late chance brings in Connors and Rance for Edwards and Riewoldt
Yep hopefully there are late changes infamy.

Foley is still named in the side. I wouldn't mind giving him the rest as a late change instead of Jack as Axel doesn't look 100%. Schulz can be moved forward to allow Rance a role down back. The handy thing about our young key defenders is most of them are adaptable play on a small/mid-sized forward as well as the key forwards of the opposition.
