There are six Tigers in the top 50 - a far cry from only one, Joel Bowden, in 2007.

Bowden holds his top-10 spot despite being dropped during the season, while Brett Deledio has jumped to No. 25.

Other Tigers on the rise are Nathan Brown (28), Chris Newman (34), Shane Tuck (35) and Matthew Richardson (48).

One would hope it's more about quality of possessions rather the quantity

Well a player loses points for clangers and errors as well

And 5 of the Cats six are their gun mids who win the ball in and out of the centre and stoppages. Tucky is the only true mid from our six above although Lids was playing more midfield and in the centre towards the end of the year. I would've thought Foley might have been in our top 6 though.
