Richmond and Carlton look to trade for picks and players

RICHMOND and Carlton will delay most of their list culling until after trade week, which starts a week after the Grand Final.
The Tigers .... lost stalwart Greg Tivendale to retirement and, like Carlton, will be looking to trade their unwanted for picks and players.
"At the moment we've still got some guys playing at Coburg, their ressies are still going round, so I reckon we're a good chance to make a lot of decisions after trade week. (We'll) carry a lot of stuff through until trade week," Tigers list manager Craig Cameron said yesterday.
Cameron said Kayne Pettifer (knee reconstruction) had not been offered a new deal, adding the injury would not play a role in deciding Pettifer's future.
Chris Hyde, Graham Polak, Dean Polo and Danny Meyer are among the names to be assessed.
"Ultimately, there will be lots of blokes we have to make decisions on, in terms of whether we go on with them, whether we trade them, and Kayne's knee shouldn't make a difference one way or another," Cameron said.
"It should just be basically whether we think he's going to be a player for us in the future.
"And he's 26, he's got plenty of time to come back from a knee."
