Seems like we are slowing down, I was expecting us to be around 23-24k at this time in terms of ticketed memberships. Hopefully the NAB Cup gives us another boost.

A good win against Freo, then pumping the Magpies in the 2nd round will get things rolling again.  :thumbsup

Richmond supporters always sign up closer to the start of the H/A season. We are still a couple of thousand ahead of last year's figure at this time of the year. We also still have our family day to come.

An important good sign for me is we are now well clear of clubs like St Kilda and Geelong who had gone ahead of us in previous years.

Interesting you mention St Kilda MT, in today's Age there's a story on the Saints and it says that their membership is sitting at only 22k about the same as this time last year. And how they are launching a campaign next week with Reiwoldt ( :'(  ;D), Hayes and Ball as the focus to try improve their numbers... Shouldn't forget they finished top 4 compared to our 9th

I reckon that shows just how well we are going...

We are up 25% on this time last year  :clapping

Win on Sunday they will sell a few more I reckon

I believe that if we decide that we are serious in this NAB Cup then we may actually win the whole thing. If that occurs our membership numbers will rise very very significantly over the next 2 or 3 weeks.

Reiwoldt ( :'(  ;D)
:rollin

I reckon deep down Saints supporters would know their window has shut and their top 4 finish was misleading. They've had the same core group for 6 years who have failed and Robert Harvey has retired. Also apart from cryboy they don't have matchwinners or marque players to build membership campaigns around. A bit like us in the past when we only had Richo as the face of the club.

Hopefully the win last night keeps the momentum going and we get another boost in membership sales.

My 50,000 target (ticketed+non ticketed) could be in range now, thats a fantastic increase for 1 week. We are still alive in the NAB Cup and we will sell memberships as the excitement grows. We are a big club and we should be at 40,000 ticketed and 10,000 non ticketed IMHO.
