Podsiadly from Werribee won
Shame he can't be picked up as a mature rookie as IIRC he was on an AFL list as a youngster. We tried a couple of years ago. He tore Casey apart on the weekend.

The rule was changed, probably as a direct result of that.
We couldn't take him as a mature age rookie because he had been on the Essendon and Collingwood lists, even though he had not played a senior game for either.

Tristan Cartledge was mature age rookied this year even though he he had been on the Essendon list and played 7 games for them.

Pods is getting on a bit. Still might be worth a look, if he's interested.

Don't think so, I think you'll find he fit in under the normal rookie rules, which is why he's ineligible next year

Woops, he does too. He's not eligible to be mature age rookied because he's played senior games.

Pods is eligible because he hasn't played a senior game, which (unfairly) wasn't the case a few years back.

Drafted by Essendon as a 17yo in 1999, so he'd be 26. (Can't find his DOB).

Rookied by Collingwood at the end of 2002.

LMAO@ That shitman, Bowden, only getting one vote at VFL level and Tivendale tearing it up.

HTF anyone can say he is a champion is beyond me.

Lazy, politically correct suck with an inflated opinion of himself.

Go on - Let me hear how wrong i am and why.......... :sleep

Joel only played 4 VFL games (Rds 3-6) and Coburg lost two of them Ox ;)

Umps don't always get it right either. Geoff Raines didn't get a vote in the 1980 Brownlow count. Tivs who kicked 6 goals in round 20 against Sandy only got 1 vote  ???. If Tivs got the 3 he would've shared last night's Liston with Podsiadly.
