Interesting to see on Big Footy all the non-Richmond supporters willing Richo to win the Brownlow :thumbsup

Fair point OE. Just checked to see how we all voted in the weekly match day OER Tiger of the Year Award and yes both in Rd 9 and Rd 21 there were clearly other standouts in the votes that we the forumites gave. So I guess as a consensus on how we saw things we can take off our yellow and black glasses now that all the hype and hope have subsided. What we can reflect upon though is that Richo is a champion and he proved it this year that as a 33 year old he almost upstaged blokes like Black Cooney and Ablett many years his junior. Hopefully team honours do not escape Richo now that perhaps the highest individual honour for this year at least has. :thumbsup

The umps love Goodes as much as the tribunal does. 21 votes in a year he supposedly struggled  :o. I know Richo was lucky to get 1 vote against Geelong but Goodes received 2 votes for a game he only had 14 possies and kicked 4 points  ???.

Some things are never meant to add up
Martin Boulton | September 24, 2008

Richmond's Joel Bowden had 39 touches, including 23 marks, in the round 13 win against Port Adelaide, but the votes went to Shane Tuck (three) and the Power's Daniel Motlop (two) and David Rodan (one). Rodan had 20 disposals and no marks.

While Richardson almost stole the show, teammate and 2008 club best and fairest winner Brett Deledio finished the night 14 votes behind the Tiger veteran.
