Any footy withdrawal symptoms or are you glad to have a break from footy?

I have to watch movies now with the Boss (wife). I don't mind that, but I would prefer to be watching footy.

I love the footy but since Hawthorn's win I have really been happy to withdraw from footy and not have it in my face especially in the day after the gf victory. I have not felt this way after a gf since 1982 so happy to have it on the outer for the time being till the fires for next season start to burn again.
Although it will never leave us this week trade week next month draft before you know it 2009 and back we jump on the merry go round. We don't withdraw ourselves for long.
My wife will be happy jobs that were put on the backberner are now being mentioned especially when I said I wouldn't go to Ikea with her. :thumbsup

i thought it would effect me more(hawks winning the flag) but couldn't care less because it could be worse.

Blues winning the flag. would send me straight to the greek islands for 6 months to escape.

Enjoyed the quiet lazy sunny day :thumbsup.

There'll be mass footy talk anyway with the trade period about to drag out all week until the final rush and hoo-haa of Friday 2pm.

Played golf for the 1st time in a long time.

Why wont those 18ft putts drop ?????

Anyways no daylight saving in the west (temporarily), so we've got 3 hours for 3 weeks.

Cheers lads.

Sounds like a plan DT. Getting out with another mate for a hit this weekend. The weather forecast is for fine and 28 on Sunday Have not played since February and I am sure my handicap will be a little worse for it and probably so is my dexterity. Oh well anything between 100 and 110 shots and I won't be too dissapointed. :thumbsup

Saturday Fine. Min 11 Max 25
Sunday Fine. Min 13 Max 28

Sounds an idea, golf Sat, beach Sun - Plenty of SPF 30 guys if your skin is anything like mine after winter.

One thing I wont miss is the Richmond and AFL websites, that's for sure. :thumbsup
