Would have liked to have seen a Friday night game earlier in the season. I was hoping for 3 Friday night games

I know we have the First Thursday but ..... Friday nights are still the marque night for TV coverage

Which makes me wonder why Carltank have so many Friday nighters.

I reckon the AFL head honchos believe the Blues are certs for the top 8 next year plus they cracked the million mark in crowds without finals. Unfortunately we have a history of let downs over the past 15 years on the back of promising form and until we change that perception we'll still miss out on what we would get if we were a consistent finals side.
