IIRC from all reports last year it was lucky if 100 people showed up. That would explain the choice of venue. The days of the Richmond Town Hall overflowing with feral members has gone lol.

We had 8 show up at our local football clubs this year, and I think one of those they counted was a passed out drunk from the night before

Last year as per the last few years it was in at crown casino 6pm the week before chrissy ....
how many would you expect to turn up ... people do have work and other commitments to be able to make it into the city centre by 6pm ,
Maybe a more appropriate time slot lets say 8pm mid and hold it near the end of Jan and the crowds might be a bit larger ... just another of many bad decision by the RFC ....

Unfortunately, the timing of when the meeting has to be held isn't as simple as saying "let's hold it at the end of Jan"

ASIC law determines when and AGM has to be held. A meeting must be held with so many days of the final accounts being signed (21 or 28 days IIRC). Once they are signed off a company is required to hold an AGM.

Bump. AGM is on tonight at 6pm.

So who is going from OER?

Edit: RFC says Benny won't be attending the AGM

LOL

That would be one way to boost the numbers attending, to have Cousins make an appearance.  Wouldn't matter where it was or what time it was.

No official news tonight as far as new sponsors. For those that went, were there any further whispers?

Ta BJ. Fingers crossed it's given the okay very soon. Once all the sponsors are officially signed-off the Club will then be able to send away to have all the onfield gear and merchandise for 2009 made up.
