Former Tigers who showed potential but .... ?
« on: November 04, 2008, 04:12:35 AM »
With the talk over the past week of some delisted players like Collard that showed potential but for whatever reasons failed to survive long at the top level, what former Tigers over the years did you believe at the time could've, should've, would've made it at VFL/AFL but didn't last long or never reached their full potential?

Brad Gwilliam...thought he was going to be full back of the century.

Stevan Jackson - thought we inherited a gun CHF.

Ironically, I think both came from the West  :-\

Agreed.

Also Ashley Blurton looked decent for a few games.

Clinton King in his first season looked like he was a great pickup but then faded quickly.

Steven James, Justin Murphy, Justin Pickering, Brad Ottens (whoops!), Pat Steinfort - tall, athletic but.....
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
