Mitch Brown had a pretty decent debut season, but still only played 5 games, bulked up too much in the next preseason and then did a knee. Pick 6 is a little high based on that.

That is quite bizarre.

Alwyn Davey has been stooged, as has our own Shane Edwards.

Mitch Brown is too high given his output.

Hmmm interesting.

Not sure if Jack has done enough yet for that rating, although in looking at some of the others.....

Does anyone know who was 2 and 4 in the National Draft that year?

Ta Wayne

Going on performance to date and potential I don't think we have done too bad on young Jack.

Interesting they rate King ahead of Edwards. Edwards has played a s**tload of games, some quite good showing plenty of potential, but has dropped 15 places from his draft position?? I would expect Connors to rocket up that ladder next year. Stupid idea this re-ranking the players.

You got that right RROFO, I think it is just a ploy so they can bring up the 2004 draft again and hang some more poo on us

1. Squibbs
2. Gumbleton
3. Hansen
4. Leunberger

Leunberger should be on this list somewhere. As this draft should still be based on potential and performance (after all, they are only 2 seasons in to their career) it is absurd that he is not rated at all.

Hypothetically if Brisbane put him up for trade, Richmond would not have flinched while offering up pick 8 and the Blues would've cheated their way to a salary of $500k per year while giving up pick 6. Mainly based on potential but performances have given a glimpse of what is still to come....

Couldnt agree more.  Leuenburger has shown he has what it takes.  SHown more than Mitch Brown at 6.  :o

Having a look he's no. 32 with Paul Stewart and Tim Houlihan ahead of him!  ;D

As much as Jack is improving and he may end up in the best from the 2006 draft he shouldn't be at 4 yet IMO. Westhoff's output so far for instance has been greater than Jack's although it almost evened up if you only base it on 2008.

Agree with everyone else that Leuenberger and Davey are too low and Mitch Brown way to high (he did his knee for crying out aloud).

They must be basing the order on this guy's opinion of how each player will turn out because Edwards has played and produced more than Connors has so far.
