GEELONG centre half-back Matthew Egan's career may be over after another negative medical report on his injured foot.
The 2007 All-Australian met with a specialist this week to assess the progress in his rehabilitation after numerous surgeries on a fractured navicular bone that has kept him out of the game since the last round of 2007.

Poor bloke. It can be a cruel game at times. The injury not only costs him his footy career but it also robbed him of a premiership medallion.
