Okay it's that time of the year again for the game that creates ever increasing controversy each and every year we've done it
. Same rules as last year to control our over-eagar posters

* The current playing list has been split into 4 groups. I haven't included any Tigers yet to make their Y&B debut or Polly while he recovers.
Group A: Newy,
Lids, McGuane, Raines, Polo,
Simmo, Graham,
CotchinGroup B:
Moore, Browny, Edwards, Schulz, Hughes,
Jackson, Foley, Morton
Group C: Bowden, Johnson,
Riewoldt, Tambo, Connors, Petts,
TuckGroup D: Cogs, Patto,
Thursty, King,
White, Richo, JON, McMahon
* For each group, one at a time, we vote in the same manner as before: +1 for one player and -1 for another. No 2's, 5's or 35's.
* The only voting restrictions are there needs to be a gap of 5 posters since you last voted before you can vote again
OR a 24 hour gap (whichever comes first).
* Each player will start with 5 points. Players who reach zero points are eliminated. Players who reach 10 points qualify for the final 12. Voting for each group stops when 3 players have qualified and then we move onto the next group.
* When the top 3 from each of the 4 groups are known we'll then vote from the final 12 left to get a final winner who will be crowned OER's 2008 favourite player.
