That's the game where Anthony Hudson kept saying Joel Bowden had kicked 6.19 for the season up to that one. He had kicked 6.2

I watched that whole game yesterday. As good as the one against the dawks in 2005 R21 where we kept coming back from big deficits and won at the death.

I can't remember a better game in recent years. I remember shaking in the last few minutes of that game I was so worked up. even watching it then was exciting.

Can't wait for next year!

Was so worked up in the last quarter and when the siren went that night that I gave up on going out and raced home to watch the foxtel replay starting at 11:30 that night. Adrenalin was pumping most exciting finish to a match involving us for years. :thumbsup

How good was that.  And how far away does it make March 2009 seem.   :gotigers

My heart stopped many times that night.  One of the best games ive seen, especially the Brisbane fans going from a complete uproar to dead silence. :whistle
Correct me if im wrong but wasnt that the game when Mcguane gave that huge hit. If anyone has that they should post it on youtube.

i am so disappointed i did not go!

that was such a brilliant match by all 22 players.

i was very proud of Richmond that night.

the whole night we tried and tried and tried and couldn't get on top of Brisbane untill the last quarter.

we were shooting ourselves in the foot many times.

Tambling, Bowden, Richardson were brilliant.

we were 5 goals behind late in the third quarter.

then we hit the front in the final quarter.

then Brisbane were 2 goals infront late in the final quarter.

sorry that i am going over it.

i haven't been more impressed by Richmond, but that match i was.

we played with heart and if we lost that match i would of still said the same thing!

let me tell you the last goal, how it was set up ...

Luke Power kicks a hospital ball 30 metres out from Brisbane's goal square.

Kelvin Moore takes the mark! kicks it too Jordan McMahon who then runs and kicks it long to Matthew White ...

Matthew White takes it on the bounce and moves left but handballs right to RICHARD TAMBLING who is running on the right side ...

Richard Tambling runs on and hits Joel Bowden on a great lead 40 metres out ...

Joel Bowden kicks ... a goal ... thank you very much!!!

i wish i was there because that roar would of been something!!!

i am going to buy this match at "name a game"!!!

Certainly a keeper that one. :)

Agree with the proud sentiments.

Instilled some genuine hope we are finally turning the corner after that game.

I was right behind Joel's kick sitting in the top deck on the city side wing by the rail. We were all up from the moment it left his boot. Never in doubt  :thumbsup.

Credit to Blingers for that winning goal also. After getting caught from behind the first time he didn't stop running. If you look closely at the set-up before the ball got to Joel you can see Blingers near Jordie and Sugar when they have the footy in the backline and he just sprints to forward to receive the handball on the wing from Whitey and then after running what 120m at full pace he nails a lace out pass on the chest of Joel. Awesome play  :clapping.

Yep great game and a sign of what Tambling will start to do more consistently in the years coming
