I have been sucked into watching this show - and i'm hooked.  However, the American people have got absolutely no taste and the voting system is the pits.

I've just cheated by looking up the web and found out who went out this week - and i won't say who in case there are people who watch - but i'm stunned.

Anyone else watch?

We've had it on the last couple of weeks in my household. I think the voters must be tone deaf  . Let's vote out the person with best singing voice each week  ??? . Bring back that Ricky Martin wannabee William Hung. Now that's entertainment    .

Well I was shocked.  That person definitely shouldn't have been voted out.  I had her picked to win it.  All I can say is that everyone in Hawaii must have voted.

Diana is improving weekly

But Fantasia is the best singer if singing is the criteria.

Jennifer was my favourite overall, but she went ages ago.

Swore i'd never start watching such a scam, but i enjoy it now.

Simon would be a Richmond supporter for sure lol.

Can anyone tell me what does "props" mean?  And I don't think I'd appreciate being called "dog" by Randy Jackson.

Props typically means items on stage that you use in your act or are settings for your act.

Randy is always doing some hand signal thingy (like the devils sign or that one they do in Hawaii)and thumping his chest and saying "props".  And he called the male contestants "dog".  Don't they speak English over there?

I have never heard him say that - well, they're totally weird over there, so could mean anything.

Julz, do you think there is a bit of bigotry in the comp, cos i just can't understand the 2 black American girls being nominated tonight and Jennifer going a few weeks back.

Yeah definitely.  But I don't think that poor John Stevens should have received death threats over Jennifer being dumped.  LaToya should have been in the final 2.
