I dropped a few hints about Rhett's book but no one took the bait !

Oh well I'll have to fork out my own hard earned  :rollin

Is the post-drafts issue worth buying 632? The pre-draft issue is very handy.

I thought the post draft issue was average

Post draft issue ?? you had me worried there MT but then i checked the mail yesterday and there it was  :thumbsup
liked the comment re one B Cousins recruited from Port Melbourne
not much footy talk except the draft and a few interviews with a few "guns to be"
checkout the weight of Ayce Cordy and then compare it to Ty Vickery
once real footy is knocking at the door the quality and relevance of the articles will be back to their normal standards
it is great for a national coverage of footy-you know how shallow the media is here in the west unless your a WA based team :banghead :banghead some times i wonder if there is a communications filter at the border

I'm only halfway through it but I reckon its pretty good. Love the interview with Ronnie Andrews (although Mal Brown was a great interviewer) and there is a really interesting article on an American baseballer with a spookily similar history in drugs as Ben Cousins.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Being a baseball nut I'll pay the story about the guy from the Texas rangers but the rest of it I thought was nuffink  ;D
