There's a new poll on the RFC site.....

Which of the Tigers' rookies is most likely to make his debut first?

Robin Nahas
David Gourdis
Andrew Browne
Alroy Gilligan
Jarrod Silvester

I think Nahas will.

He's ready to go and he was drafted for a position we lack in, little goal sneaks.
And you may not think I care for you

I went the big cat as you would have to think he will have to be given a go in the top side given his mature age rookie drafting.  Not too sure exactly who he is going to replace though as I would think Rance is ahead of him for next in line at a shot as a tall in our back six.

IMO Nahas to come onto the senior list with Polly going onto the LTIL.

Disagree MT.

I've said this before but I reckon it will be Silvestor, especially for Polak. If you put Polly onm the LTIL then you have to try and replace him with a "like type" player eg Silvestor or perhaps Gourdis

One,  I think we will have a better idea after the NAB cup/pre-season who deserves an opportunity

Two, as menitoned by Chuck17 we have to see if Silvestor is going to make it so he should get first crack

third, IMHO Nahas is the one most likely to get a game in the second half of the season when clubs are allowed to play a rookie without someone having to be put on the LTIL

to be honest i believe that only a rut of injuries would produce opportunities for any of these...Nahas, Gilligan are miles of being physically ready...Browne and silvestor would be like emergency call ups for sprecialty possies in Key backs or Rucks...Only outstanding performances could defy my thoughs...Here's hoping :o

Normally I would say like for like but IMO Nahas will get the nod as he is one type we lack - a small quick and hassling goalkicking forward who can keep the ball inside our forward line as well as kick crumbing goals. That's at least why we picked him up for at 21 y.o. Every side copies the reigning premiers and they want their own Cyril Rioli-type. Silvester on the other hand IMO is really just back-up in case a couple of our key backs go down. I can't see Silvester getting a game ahead of Moore, Thursty or Lukey and even Schulz and Rance are probably ahead of him given all are on the senior list. As for the other 3 rookies they are longer-term prospects.
