well if he gets a game in the seniors it will be nice if he gets to kick his 1st goal but me thinks he will be playing for Coburg and the occasional mention as an emergency  he is one player that will need to come on in leaps and bounds to  get a permanent role in the side  and to think he was once classed with the potential to be another Adam Goodes   now he is the whipping boy for the Richmond Footy Club supporters   go get some advice from Tivs JON

Was disappointed when we didnt take shannon hurn instead, it was a clear mistake, even to amateur recruiting watchers like myself. Whilst Hurn hasnt set the world on fire atleast he is a reliable player who will play 150 afl games.

I expect Sheedy to have already started mentoring him.

If Sheedy can't get anything out of him, then no-one can.

To me JON is like baking a cake from a cook book. You have all the ingredients, high expectations, cook it for the suggested time, but when you pull it out of the oven it's as flat as a pancake!

Sad, but unfortunately appears to be true.  Unless as Wayne said, Sheeds can spend some one-on-one with him and get a result.  At face value, much of his problem appears to be in the head so who knows.

JON would need to play 6 or more AFL games and show something worthwhile in them to survive. Terry has always told us at training "wait 4 years". Well 4 years has now arrived. I don't think JON will be a Tiger in 2010. Too many flaws in his game for AFL level especially disposal by foot and his decision making.

Interesting comparison!!!

JONs problem is not just his own, I suspect that he is not well managed by the coach and would be much better placed on list with a lot more experience and depth - like say the Cats.

He is too exposed to unrealistically high expectations at a club like Richmond.
