Do we have any other details on this, as I would like to go down?

Like what time, what oval, etc?

7pm start, not sure which oval.

last night was good that Terry dropped Bowden and Tuck to give the young players a good.

dropped McGuane too? not for that.

but like he said, just looking at the list.

would love to hear Post, Rance, Vickery all play against St Kilda.

if Hughes is 100% play him.

not sure if Cousins should play, probably not. Richardson shouldn't play.

Brown shouldn't play.

Johnson injured.

leave Tuck, Bowden leave out.

maybe give Foley a rest for the next couple of weeks.

Jackson needs to play, Connors and Collins should play.

Simmonds shouldn't play.

Putt should come in.

Pattison? where is he? is he injured?

if not,

play: Graham, Putt, Vickery, Pattison against St Kilda.

maybe rest Newman, what happened to him in the second half last night?

Deledio, Tambling, Moore, McGuane, Thursfield, Morton, Riewoldt: should play.

Deledio Captain against St Kilda and Moore Vice Captain.

the next two weeks should be all about the young players.

I couldn't disagree more, the next two weeks should be about getting our starting 22 match fit, which they won't do by sitting on the sidelines.
Obviously Cousins, Johnson, Cotchin, Cogs won't play due to injury plus Richo's already proven he's match fit against Freo. As for the rest of them, time to get the boots on and get ready for Round 1. Blow out the rest of the cob webs and try to get the skills as sharp as possible in match conditions.

Seems we will be going with more youth in this game.

No Richo, Browny, Johnson or Cousins playing according to today's Herald-Sun.

From the Shepparton News:

"Greater Shepparton Council is sticking to the successful plan used for last year's AFL practice match at Deakin Reserve. St Kilda and Richmond will do battle in what is expected to be another blockbuster under lights at Deakin Reserve on Friday March 7."   [Ed. Friday is March 6]

Cuz is even on the front page up there lol.

What do you think the side will look like on Friday night?

I think we'll rest all the older guys who played against Collingwood and bring back those that sat it out plus a few of those who haven't yet played in the NAB series.

B:   McGuane    Silvester     King
HB:  Raines      Rance         Post
C:   Edwards    Jackson       Polo
HF:  JON        Riewoldt      Hislop
F:    Nahas       Putt          Morton
R:   Graham     Tuck       Thomson
Int:  Vickery, Bowden, Schulz, White, Connors, Collins, Tambling, Gilligan

The week after we play close to our round 1 side. Looks like we'll be either up at the Gold Coast (hello Julz) or in Bendigo going by that link.

Excitement building for footy fans
Shepparton News

It was a slow start to ticket sales yesterday for Friday night's blockbuster AFL Challenge match between St Kilda and Richmond. But that didn't stop a horde of enthusiastic punters lining up to ensure their seats for the match. An estimated 200 tickets were snapped up by the close of business.

Deakin Reserve holds 10,000.

Mark Fine from SEN is up there. 4000 crowd. Ground is in great nick - a bowling green. As we know Saints have their big guns while we have a young side.
