What would be a respectable result in tonight's game?
« on: March 06, 2009, 04:49:35 AM »
We are going into the game with a young side while the Saints are close to full strength minus Riewoldt and Maguire. So what would be a respectable result for us in tonight's game against St Kilda?

We have perhaps the most influential players out tonight soi dont really hold too many high hopes! It would be nice to see the younger types step up and fill the places left and create pressure for those who miss to keep their spots or or at least create discussion about being an able replacement in the future!

I'm not worried about the result at all as IMO it wont mean anything.  Just looking forward to seeing the young talent on display in our side, since I dont see Coburg games it is one of the only opportunities I get to see some of the fringe/new draftee players go round.

Yep  :thumbsup I voted no injuries, to get within 10 goals would be great and would show some of the youngsters are ready to stand up.

I voted no injuries and am also of the 'practice match, who cares' school of thought.  However that doesn't mean I don't want to hear some reports of us playing good footy and further improvement of those foot skills and decision making  :thumbsup

Dont know Ramps

BUt SEN are saying they will be giving "live" updates during the course of the night during their NAB cup coverage

As for the result ... don't give a rats what the score line is. Just like the idea of giving some of the kids a chance :clapping

A respectable result would be no injuries and a margin below 8 goals.

But then the result doesn't matter regardless and the difference between the team sheets is probably at least 10 goals.

No injuries and if I'm being greedy a nice cameo performance from one of our kids
