Looks like Danny's auditioning for everything.

Triple M, 3AW, Channels 7 & 9 now Fox Footy.

When is it the print media's turn? Watch out Caro  :rollin :rollin

Wasnt a bad show actually. Funny thing was the player that he liked coaching the most was , you guessed it Brad Ottens. Ask Brad Ottens and he says that Danny never spoke to him for 3 months. Somebody is telling porkies.
Also showed the hawks game where Hall marked in the last minute. If anyone has a tape of it, worth having a look at Ottens pathetic attack on the ball with Hall attacking the ball and marking it.
Spoke about his family.
Impression you get watching the show was the players liked him.
Lets just hope the players can put in a better effort over the next few years or another coach will get the chop !

One of the things Danny mentioned was his first days as Coach.

He said that he was appointed by Leon Daphne one day and the next was told by Leon that he was stepping down as President.

He then had Jim Malone (?) take up another role elsewhere, so he had the President and General Manager depart shortly after he was appointed.

At his first draft/trade period, the players were going overseas and the footy manager was going with them.

Nice state of affairs for an inexperienced coach to find himself in.

Didn’t paint the Club in a very good light at that time.  Is it any wonder we’re a rabble when there is no continuity with staff and the new kid on the block is left to sort things out for himself?

Talk about sink or swim.

Easy for him to play that card now but had he had ANY nouse whatsoever he would have rallied to rectify
