Wayne Carey returns to North

Carey is being inducted to North's Hall of Fame tonight.

Call me cynical but I wonder if this comeback would've happened if North weren't so desperate for $$$ and a public face for their own survival.

This does smack of desperation but when you find Stevens Archer and Carey are hugging and shaking hands at a North function just in time to coincide as North is about to get on their death bed that's when the corniness will be for their survival.

The latter looks more like happening than the former as Stevens wasn't even at the function.
