So WP would you think Cogs could come back in to the team next week??

Seeing he missed a fair chunk of the pre-season, I'd be surprised if he came in next week, especially at Etihad which is such a fast ground. Personally, I wouldn't play him I think he needs at least another week to get some more fitness.

But I'll be honest and i've said this before last year I doubted if he'd play again, now I am confident enough to say he will play again

Ta for the feedback WillyP. :)

If Cogs won 40 touches(?) he's a no brainer to come back surely. Even if utilised off the bench.

Hughes is weak as pee so forget him, could Post debut?

Not based on his last 2 games, doens't seem ready at the moment, you'd be throwing him to the wolves. His disposal by foot is the concern at times but he's certainly is great mark (contested especially)

Did Will Play? How did he go?
In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Yes 1965, going by the team list I was given at the gate (still staggered I had to pay to get in) he was wearing number 36.

And is Jacob Hislop having a run-around yet?

Didn't play seniors - perhaps played in the ressies - not sure I wasn't there for that game

Did Will Play? How did he go?

yes Will played. I posted somewhere else I don't think he did enough for a senior recall. Actually I hardly noticed him. Personally, I thought he lacked intensity and didn't try to stamp his authority across the backline unlike Silvestor

Snippet's from Rawlings' report in EOTT

Cogs - 40 possies, 5 clearances, 7 inside 50s, 11 tackles
Post - 21 possies, 4 inside 50s
Thomson - 18 possies, 6 clearances, 2 goals
Patto - 15 hitouts, 7 tackles

Rawlings gave JON and Silvester praise for their 4-quarter efforts.
