I enjoyed China Beach for the opening sequence alone.

Dana Delaney was pretty cool as well.

Seinfeld best sitcome ever to come out of the US, WP. Whats wrong with you? Clearly you dont have a sense of humour.

I have been over to NYC a few times and love going to that RESTAURANT and having a meal.

Different set up obviously inside but so many people eat there and memorablia all over the walls. Its great!!

MASH- are you kidding?

Id rather watch grass grow that watch that crap

Number 1 - I do have a sense of humour, I follow Richmond remember  ;D. 2 - there is nothing wrong with me just because I don't like that show, I think it is very over rated. Suggest if you want to watch something funny you have a look at 30Rock ..... Number 3 - trust me Danny I am older than you so my tastes are likely to be very different.. give me classic British comedy any day...

I've been to NYC as well so I don't see your point

I said it was IMO the best on that list but not one of my all time favourites

Now you're talking Moi.... "this is the story of 2 sisters....." Bought us Benson as well. Billy Cyrstal's character was one of the first Gay leads on US TV ... Great show  :clapping :clapping

The point is WP, that unlike us other Schmuks, you and Daniel are like two peas in a pod, well travelled, well versed and well educated, the resemblance is striking.

It looks like the person who came up with this top 10 doesn't remember anything before 1990  ???. 'I love Lucy' would have to be in a real top 10 as it was the first.

Mine:
1. Cheers
2. Seinfeld
3. Everybody loves Raymond
4. Newhart
5. The Muppet Show lol

I could mention I use to watch Who's the Boss, Full House, Cosby Show, Growing Pains, Home Improvement, Diff'rent Strokes and all those 80's sitcoms but I'll let that slip under the carpet  :shh ;D

Katherine Helmond again - a great comedic actress, incredible timing

there was a comedy back in the early 1980's lasted about 7 episodes that had Jim Carrey in it when no one knew who he was, as well as Katey Sagal (pre Married with Children).. that was a top show, very funny.

Another one that didn't last long and starred Tom Hanks when he was a nobody was a show called "Bosom Buddies" - very very funny show. Tom Hanks in drag....  ;D

I didn't get Seinfeld straight away so I can understand other people not getting it either. It took about watching 2-3 episodes to catch on and then I was hooked. Whereas Everyone loves Raymond was close to home. Some greater family members are very similar to the characters in the show ;D.
