Nahas(67kg) makes Edwards (76 kg) look like a man mountain.I think my 12 year old nephew weighs almost as much as robin.

However I do wish Nahas all the best and will be cheering for him on Saturaday.

just thinking how the hell is edwards still in the side
Maybe Plough sympathises for playing Shane out of positon in defence or it could be that facing Milburn again is the punishment for last week's "effort".

The theme was toughness.
So King was brought in. Okay
Yet Polo a hard at it player who is tough was left out for Edwards lets say. :scream
Contradictory to say the least. :whistle
We may as well have the little league run out rather than the skinny little runts we'll have running out anyway.
Its like Steve Irkel up against Mike Tyson, Homer Simpson against Drederick Tatum.

No He doesn't! And at least Nahas can hold a tackle and not only that, he wants to tackle.
Edwards, and i have been saying it for a while now, does not even want to tackle, he runs very hard when we have it but seems to take ages to react when the ball turns over. Not good enough at the moment, we need players earning the right to run around in the yellow and black and that means being desperate in every way! Last weeks performance was simply not good enough and i am so glad Terry swung the axe but i think it should have been swung even harder!
Anyway it looks like a few maybe on notice from here on in, and deservedly so!!!

I have to say I am bloody peeved  :banghead :banghead I was going to use a different word than bloody but I didn't want to reprimand myself again

But seriously I cannot believe that Polo hasnt been selected

FFS oops sorry, I mean what does he have to do. He was easily in the best 3 for Coburg last week so can someone anyone explain this mind numbing decision to me

Now correct me if I am wrong MT but were we not told at the pre-match last week that Polo was unlucky not to be playing because he had been outstanding in the pre-season and that he was next in line...

But oh no we get this (refer those in bold)

Emg: Andrew Collins, Dean Polo, Will Thursfield

In: Rance, King, Hislop, Graham, Nahas

Rance, Polo, Nahas and Polo in the best last week but only 3 get a gig .... don't get it just don't get it

Please give me a break... geez I'm peeved  :banghead :banghead :banghead

Emg: Shannon Byrnes, Tom Gillies, Kane Tenace
Garry Lyon said Gillies is a back-up full-back for the Cats so there's a big question mark on whether Scarlett will play.

What if Scarlett plays half the game and goes off injured?
Does that mean Lyon and Hutchy are both duds?

Spot on WP. We all heard it. Hmmm just as the player in question said today he was playing and told his mum too. Something very fishy going on  :whistle.

Edwards has got some dash about him, however, probably needs to stay forward of the middle.  I'd rather see Polo in for Jackson.   I think the best line up, based on selections & with Polo in for Jackson, would be:

B: Newman, Moore, King
HB: Polo, McGuane, Rance
C: Richardson, Tuck, White
HF: Brown, , Riewoldt, Tambling
F: Edwards, Bowden, Morton
R: Simmonds, Deledio, Foley
I/C: Graham, Hislop, Nahas, Schulz

Let King run with Ablett & annoy the crap out of him.   :gotigers

I'm surprised Kingy is back in but I guess they want someone who will always give 110% effort even if his footskills aren't that great.

Maybe Kingy is coming in as hitman?

Do whatever you have to to stop Ablett, suspension or not??

Edwards was on track to play his first BOG last year until Milburn slam tackled him.

Just like Ablett Snr used to terrorize us, Edwards will do it against the Cats for the next 10 years.....
