Adam Thomson should be in the side IMHO. Good luck to Collins, hes deserved his chance. Hopefully he plays well.

I think that both Coughlan and Thompson are missing because of fitness reasons, nothing else.  And yes, good luck to Collins - he has impressed me with his attitude, output and development since he came to the club.  He is one kid I really hope makes it.

Phil Egan absolutely teeing off at the coach and the match committee:-
*Blames match committee/coach for playing Tambling after the week off with a hammy and the birth of his kid on the Thursday night before the bulldogs game
*Claimed that the coach singled out Tambo as playing a poor game but refused to single out older, senior players "Who have not laid a tackle in 2 years"
*Stated that JON spoke to him tonight and said he WASN'T playing on Sunday
*Reckons that the young players are taking the rap for poor performance of the team instead of the senior players - Nathan Brown was singled out as an example of not delivering but still being in the side
*When one of the others mentioned that Jordy "who has your number Phil" was back in the side, Egan looked down and shook his head (and looked disgusted)
*Blamed the coaching staff for showing no respect to the playing group by forcing them to play a style of game they have no hope of executing on field

maybe its a Wallace scandal, he is destroying our club so his beloved Hawks can get premierships
maybe his being paid on the side to make us stay the whipping boys
Stupid as it sounds but makes everyone wonder. Edwards, would be the 1st player chopped in my view.
You chop the runts & keep the bigger lads in but that dont happen at Tigerland

But the real reason is Wallace wants Richmond to chop him so he gets paid out & he dont have to resign as walking out on the club
Then no-one has any comeback on him, its all about Terry Wallace & not the Richmond Football Club

egan said the same things last year and it is no shock, we all know terry has his favourites, all coaches do.
But what i find amazing is that tambo was made a scapegoat after a 14 possession game but a 16 possession game by deledio is ok?
its time plough made an example out of deledio and lets see what mental toughness he has, tambling has put up with alot and and has mental toughness, i doubt deledio could cope being dropped, he would sook all the way to his mummy and daddy

Tambling's 14 possession game was far worse than just being 2 possessions less than Deledio.

Deledio tackled and chased far more from I saw and didn't give away any direct turnovers like Tambling did probably half the time.

But in my opinion if he didn't sleep well and was tired then we really shouldn't have played him anyway and his return should have been this week.

Yeah, it was 4 possessions less.  ;D He only had 12 , not 14 as TigerTime keeps stating.
4 kicks (all turn overs) & 8 handballs.

Plus Lids was tagged, Tambo wasn't
Big difference
Plus Lids was one of the few (only) players with good disposal

There are some different people in our society that you just don't understand.. I think Browny is one of them.. Just is a weird weird bloke. Makes a fool out of himself and then looks emotionless with a little chuckle here and there.. Smile Nathan? Are you a goof or not? Sort it out?

I've never been a Browny hater but I think his time is up at Richmond I honestly believe that. Respect where it is due he was a good player when he was in his prime but I don't see him being a week in week out contributor past the 09 season.

I also think his passion for playing eth game and for the club he's playing for is not up to AFL standard. What players and media don't make clear i the actual desire that is required to play at the elite level. Media let rip into players ie: Corey Jones, Nathan Brown, Dale Thomas, Dal Santo players like this get roasted by the media when they look disinterested on the footy field. Then the players get all up in arms explaining teh do care etc.

The fact of teh matter is and in Nathan's case I'm sure you do care to play well and win Nathan. But unfortunatly as it's shown throughout your career you haven't shown the 110% desire to win and be successful. There is a massive difference between someone wanting to win and play well (Nathan Brown) and someone who will put there body in front of a Mac truck and run to the point of chucking up or passing out, DESIRE to win a game of football (Robert Harvey, James Hird and all teh way down to a Joel Selwood, Brett Kirk)

It's one thing to be ultra skillful but if you don't have the 110% AFL desire your just going to pull up short.

For mine thanks for the career, enjoyed watching you at your best and if it wasn't for your leg I'm sure the team woudl have tasted better success but I am afraid your spot on RFC's list would be better suited for a player that has 110% desire.

here here

unfortunately a career cut short prevented us seeing the best of him. His selfish acts are no longer required.

time for him to move and go make Tshirts and hit the club scene where it seems his loyalities lie.
