Mistakes
« on: April 25, 2009, 10:56:01 PM »
hey guys, i agree great game because we smashed them . However we made a load of mistakes during the fourth eg kicking it out to many times resulting in a lot of turn overs north just kept missing  :P

those mistakes would have cost us the game if it was say The cats or Saints

but still .... :gotigers

Check out the ladder before you post sunshine.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

And 4 games from the Top 2 which is where the Cats and the Saints will sit after tomorrow.
Comparing the Tigers to either the Cats or the Saints (despite our credible 3rd qtr vs the Cats) is like comparing Australia's standard of living to Bangladesh.

One step forward....one step only.

In many ways I think it was a complete role-reversal of last week against Melbourne.

Our last quarter was very patchy. After really taking some risks and busting the game open in the third we went into our shell just trying to make sure we won. In effect, just like Melbourne last week, we became a bit nervy. I thought North, like us last week, were second to every contest, terrible forward structure, slow in the build up kicking constantly to wide leads as we could flood back at every opportunity. So many skill errors in the corridor from North and they just couldn't get away from us at the clearances even when they had Rawlings, Simpson and co on the ball.

For us, my personal view is that chipping the ball around in the D50 is absolute garbage when you are 40 points up with 2-3 minutes to go.
