The SCG is a very small ground, as we all know, where the CHF and CHB positions are practically defunk. As a result if Richo is ommitted then we need a big target leading from the goal square. Schulz is the obvious choice but Vickery could be one from left field. Cotchin doesn't need to be rushed in and given that he only played half a game for Coburg, I would say he would need one full game (at least) at the VFL level before he is recalled. Cousins may be included for....hard call really - Collins at a squeeze but I don't think this is fair so best to let CoBenny earn his inclusion coming back through the Burgers.

AND BTW, richos hammy is fine, he strained a gluteal muscle, thats in his behind not leg!

Glutes can be tricky and painfull... can lead to hammy problems if not treated properly

My lower back problem is hamstring and glute related - so the experts tell me :P  :lol

at least 2 player need to be dropped to accommodate Cotchin and Cousins - if not next week then the game after.

Brown is prolly worth a spot in the side too at some stage. And the like of Raines & Thomson you would think should start knocking on the door.

Collins, Polo, JON, Tambling etc. all worth staying i team at this stage. + i still don't like McMahon and Bowden in the same backline.

browns form was deplorable in first 4 games , a HFF that cant kick goals has as much use as yesterdays paper...No rush for his return...Cotch needs 1 more run as does Cuz...If richo is out Id bring in sarge

Deledio was good on the Half-Back stuff. and there is McMahon and Bowden too. i personally would not have McMahon in the team, and have Deledio as the HBF. Joel is 'servicable' in the BP/Sweeper. i am not a 'Joel Fan', however he is worth that BP spot. however North Melbourne did not show McMahon respect and therefore McMahon got his touches at ease. Sydney are a lot more disiplined team then North Melbourne, so McMahon shouldn't expect the 'easy touches'.

Oakley-Nicholls kept fudging up! he is so slow and it annoys me. he has sticky hands, but he is slow. though our forward line needs something (a big strong forward).

Richardson - not sure if we should risk him. look, this match if we can pinch a 'win' would do us wonders. Sydney another team who loves playing Richmond. if we risk Richardson, then we should risk Cousins and Cotchin. though i doubt that Cousins and Cotchin will play.

every match now is a must win match. LMAO!

should we bring back Simmonds for Pattison?

Morton needs to lift a bit more and work on his kicking like Jack should.

drop JON for Jay? need a tall forward.

i would say:

In: Schulz, Simmonds

Out: Oakley-Nicholls, Pattison

I think they should bring in Schulz for Richo or, from a bit left field, Simmo to play in the goal square rotating with Gus and Patto to give the younger two are break against Jolly.

Just my thoughts

if richo is remotely restricted he must not play. we must have 22 100% fit men on the park
if he is fine the team must remain unchanged
otherwise

richo out
sarge in

Simmonds did OK for Coburg so maybe him for Patto.

Patto didn't get a lot of it, but I liked his game. I'd leave him.

I like that idea alot.  :bow It could be the move like moving Richo to the wing was last year. Not saying Simmo will be as good as Richo of course. But it would give Gus and Patto and good run and maybe a missing big body in our forward line with Simmo. Verry good idea.
Smaller ground long kick from the middle Simmo marks or breaks packs open smaller players at ground level, :gotigers sounds like a simple game plan.

What! No!

Patto was great. Simmonds struggled in all games
Schulz has been given opputunities and he hasn't taken them, give JON minimum 4 games. JON was servicable. Give him a chance.

Team stays the same. End of story.

If Richo is out you'd bring in Schultz as a forward or Simmonds and stick him in the goal sqaure and told do not leave the forward 50 arc.

JON needs an extended run in the team-at least a month. He may be TWs "project player" but I if last Saturday was JONs first ever game I would be thinking this kid shows promise.I do agree with most people that this year is JONs last chance to show somthing.
