The opposition tag him heavily because they know our other mids are less dangerous and influential and cough it up. Compare that to Sydney where Jacko has completely blanketed Goodes so far yet the Swannies aren't missing his influence.

Choice now is to throw Lids up forward to give us a forward marking target or keep him in the middle and tell him to run, run and run and hopefully burn off his opponent in the second half.

Lids must have received a rocket at half-time. 9 disposals in the 3rd and plenty of them contested  :thumbsup.

terry should have given him a rocket, and being tagged is a soft excuse, all good players have an opponent and get tagged

deledio must impact now!

he wants to be elite he must win this game 4 us

As a team yep. Our mids got us back in the game including Lids. We had enough chances. We were all over them. Blame our forwards for stuffing up not Lids in the second half.

Pretty hard to win a game of footy for your team when your down 69-75 and one of your team mates is heading into an open goal only to get run down, then your opponents go down the other end and kick 2 goals. You blame deledio, we didnt lose because of deledio, we lost coz they are better than us, and some of our players are slow- like Riewoldt, others arent smart enough for the game and overall we have to many average players- and Deledio isnt one of those

Wouldn't blame Deledio, I'd blame Richo for playing when he's unfit.
Wallace would have left the decision for him to say if he was okay, and clearly he wasn't.
You let the team down Richo by being selfish
Anyone who's not fit shouldn't be playing  :banghead

thats not richos fault, he was still very important 4 us today , just as usual he misses the important goals

deledio was shocking bar 20 minutes
he newman white and morton should be dropped, but they wont, i bet jon will even though his efforts kept us in the game early

we are our worst enemy, and deledio has got the winning edge or desire

I understand there is crowd noise but dont players warn teammates when they are are being run down? Wouldn't you be aware before you get the ball of who is around you? Our forwards seem to get run down too often when other teams forwards seem to have plenty of time to assess the situation and make the right decisions.
