Miller on SEN
« on: October 04, 2004, 04:21:33 PM »
Said Roos have put a concrete offer on the table so that puts them in front. We told Roos we would talk to the other clubs and get back to them.

So far only 1-on-1 club talks.

Need a third club involved for sure.

Very close. If the dead line was 6pm tonight a deal could be done.

Will try to trade for Simmonds to keep our PSD pick up our sleeve.

Everyone concentrating on the names.

Couple of clubs interested in Zantuck. No concrete offers yet.

Just posted this on the Otto thread that the Roos have offered their pick 10.

Quote
Ottens has already declared he wants to play for Geelong but the Roos are desperate to lure the ruckman/forward to Arden Street and have already offered the Tigers their first round pick in the draft - pick ten - in exchange for the 24-year-old.

Obviously the Roos are very keen. :thumbsup

This is going to be an very interesting week ;)

I would think the Zantuck trade would be the easy one. Send him anywhere for a second round pick or an established player 24y.o. or younger. I would look to Essendon

I heard Peter Jackson & Rodeny Eade this morning on SEN and both said they wouldn't be going today. Would go later in the week
