sick of honorable losses, sick of them
« on: May 03, 2009, 03:51:56 PM »
this is bs, nothing to do with terry wallace, he coached very well today, and that f head derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwaybe russell keep going on that wallaces future relies on this result, rubbish.

deledio morton riewoldt and white cost us the game, they should be dropped. at least foley in the second half was much more efficient

pee poor 4 quarter effort by the above mentioned, lazy and no real desire
tambling jackson, gus, patto, nahas, tuck, joel our defence all good, even very good, cogs efforts fantastic.

captain newman should be dropped as captain also , he just is not good enough, once again rfc has made a mistake with our leader

when will we learn to win these games!

Morton, Newman, Riewoldt should be dropped. Deledio and White should not be dropped. Honorable losses this season is the way to go now. There will be no finals action. We need the best picks possible.

we bottomed out  to get deledio and co, that didnt work, bottoming out does work, losing does not work, creating a winning culture works, we lost today again because we dont know how to win, you cannot coach or teach that, it comes from within
we have too many passengers and downhill skiers, ppl bag guys like bowden, he once again proved is is in our best 5 players, and well done to tambling , i have said it many times, when their careers are up, tambo will be better than lids

yep 100% agree starting with another this week against the Lions.

new coach will have a few more picks at his disposal.

and yes TT the coach is part blame here because if after 4 years we still dont know how to win games.

Whose fault is that you dweeb, Dwayne Russell??

if we had have won today and v geelon this yr we would be right in this season, but we are not because we cant finish teams and games off, and ramps reckons bottoming out will help, bs it just ingrains further a losing culture

So this year whats the point of finishing 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th - for mine there is deadset NO POINT. Get an early pick, Get Butcher or Scully or whoever you want with the early pick, and instead of coughing up picks for players- keep the picks and just pick the young kids from the draft.

u r wrong ramps

no team has won from bottoming out, they have won by bringing winners to the club
the blues have not turned their team around because of draft picks

they brought in 3 people , the 3 most important people in the club that are winners

1/ captain judd a winner
2/ coach ratten a winner
and
3/ the late pratt, a president  another winner

put all the best pics in a loser team and they also becoem losers

hawks are the same
1/ president kennett , is a winner
2/ clarkson  a winner

3/ to win a premiership they brought in dew ....another winner

tanking is bullsh.it

I dont recall Clarkson being a premiership player or senior coach before getting appointed at Hawthorn. And I distinctly recall one Lance Franklin, one Jarrad Roughhead, one Jordan Lewis and one Xavier Ellis atleast being called by Hawthorn in drafts where they had tanked to get picks.

you can add Gibbs, Judd, Murphy and kruzer to that list all of which will help them into the finals while we will sit out yet again because of our pathetic and meaningless 9th finishes.

gibbs murphy and kruezer would not be as good without a judd around them or a ratten.  deledio was meant to be a stuff but he isnt but if he played at carlton i bet he would be

judd pratt and ratten changed carlton, not bottoming out

If we tank this year, we get the last chance for a number of years at the best talent available at both the national and psd drafts, we cant waste that chance, we are already at R6 there are only 16 weeks left, we wont make the finals, get the picks, and give the new coach a chance to pick the players he needs.
