gibbs murphy and kruezer would not be as good without a judd around them or a ratten.  deledio was meant to be a stuff but he isnt but if he played at carlton i bet he would be
judd pratt and ratten changed carlton, not bottoming out

mate bottoming out helped them to get Judd or has your memory lapsed. What picks do you think they used to give to Eagles??

It was a signed deal halfway through the season and they were very smart with their honourable losses whilst we weren't.

My issue is i dont want a new coach come in and start winning meaningless games so i must admit i am warming to the idea of seeing Mr Solarium play out the year then get dumped the day after Round 22.

Exactly which picks we get is not what concerns me most, it's getting the right coaching setup to develop them. Clearly we can't develop players to their peak the way other teams can.

Judd and Pratt have helped Carlton.
Ratten is a puppet and Sticks Kernahan has his hand right up Ratts bum as a puppeteer always does. Ratts has no opinion everything around him is choreographed.

As for us. Yep I am sick of losing narrowly with valour and honour then get flogged the following week or winning meaninglessly the week after. Ramps I'm with you.
Terry needs to play the kids for the rest of the year and ensure we get as many picks as we can for the draft in November. That should be his job for the rest of the year to give the new coach something.

all our money should go the area of development not playing $330k to one porn star names Jordy Mcmahon. No wonder his mrs left him.

Just to think we missed out on drafting a good kid at 19 for McMahon. No wonder Wallace will lose his job, its decision like that that have wrecked Richmond.

I will never ever support a Tanking Richmond...All tanking does is provide excuses for poor performances....Hardly what we need at the moment ...another four years of pathetic excuses while players hide behind the term "Rebuild".This team has to start a winning culture by winning any game on offer.I would take an honorable 9th over a pathetic tank any day.

Then none of us will see any finals for the next decade. We should have tanked in 2005 and 2006 - and we'd be where Hawthorn is now, but no- we are proud club that needs to deliver a winning mentality- as Ian Wilson rightly said, you cant turn poo into raspberry jam. We need better players.

your joking right?????

you seem bright i just cant understand how you cannot see that by finishing 9th will and has cost us for so many years.

Finishing 9th leaves me with a empty feeling whilst other teams go the "honourable loss" route and end up playing finals whilst we are left sucking our thumbs

Daniel....I just believe that the problem with Richmond is that the players have played without expectations over the last few seasons while the club is in rebuild mode and now the time has come to step up they dont know how. They are so used to losing its become part of the club culture.Tanking will just reinforce the losing culture .Dont you see the risk in a top draft pick comming to Richmond and being consumed by the losing culture. That is why Im against Tanking.

We haven't played 4 quarters of footy all year. It was 10 mins against Carlton, 1.5 quarters against Geelong, 1 quarter vs Dogs and Melbourne, 3.5 vs North (win) and 2 quarters today. You're not going to win too many games on that form. We were inconsistent last year as well but when we were "on" we would score heavily. This year we are struggling to score when we have the momentum and so we are not getting the reward for our dominant patches. Today we were all over the Swans after half-time but still only kicked one more goal than we did before half-time when the Swans were on top  :P. We're simply not good enough and our forward line's lack of potency is killing us. We need another quality key forward to straighten us up. It just so happens one of the top 3 picks this year is a quality key forward  :whistle.

MEMO SELECTORS!!!   PLAY VICKERY

Everyone is saying he is not ready etc etc too young etc etc.

i tell you what you can eat your own words tonight because he may have been the difference forward instead of a wasted selection in Richo.

Richo needs a week off has been very poor all year apart from one game. I dont care if you cross the white line your fit and if your not fit then selector and player need to look themselves hard in the mirror.

Our forward line lost us the game today
