Campbell came to the club when there was a opening to get in & he took it.
thats the only reason his there. To learn coaching not to take over the senior coaching role which he has no chance
You may find him taking the Coburg role from Rawlings which will enhance his coaching
The next coach of Richmond is already at the club currently having a holiday  ;D

well l think we will all move on now, no more Wallace or Spud topics, Tanking topics, its all full-on support to the end of the season.
The players got thier own way & its been going on since last year. Now they have no-more excuses not to play 4 quarters & win for the supporters otherwise my Melbourne membership will be getting overuse this season & next, now its off to the football cheers

i suppose many would have said the same thing when he took reigns at ESS in 1981 and Pagan when taking over at North after shimma was sacked, make your own luck in this game, gone are the days that flags can be materialised thru chq books :o

The Sheedy of 1981 is different to the Sheedy of 2010. Yes the experience is a bonus, but in 1981 Sheedys whole persona exuded someone who was desperate to succeed, I dont see that now. The persona of Sheedy in 1981 is what I see now in Buckley, Hardwick and even Campbell.

Sheedy came from a successful club at the time and saw what made Tom Hafey tick close up and still has closeness to Tom such is the Bond.

Hardwick has worked closely with Sheeds as has Choco and Hardwick has worked closely with Choco and Clarkson another Choco prodige all from winning cultures.

Even Bucks has played under Matthews, Walls and Malthouse all who have experienced success so he knows what it takes.

All these prospective coaches still have closeness with their coaches and genuinely respect and listen to what they have to say so it is fair to say their mentoring was from someone whose credentialls are excellent.

Campbell- KB Walls, Northey, Walls Giesche, Spud, Wallet and worked with Eade and Wallet. Not the best role call there even though Walls and Jeans were prem coaches but their best was behind them by the time they got to the club and all due respect to Eade who is doing okay, but the education is definentely not there. Its like asking a yr 11 student to graduate from the Melbourne Uni Law Faculty with Honours without completing their VCE or attending tutes and lectures once at Uni. Does not make sense.

Buckley I'm warming to and I hope he is not cockteasing us
Hardwick would be just as good now also.
Should both be sounded out and hunted down

there;s never a certainty when the tigers are involved, well maybe there is :-\....if we get our selections right and our running game going , nahas, Gus, Browny back into the side then we start to look pretty formidable
