It's finally over! 

Maybe we can now have a simple game plan for the rest of the season where if a player is on the run about 70m out, they have an option to go to, and not stop and handball backwards to a flat footed player.

A game plan that isn't so predictable, for example a player takes a mark and handballs off to a guy who gets tackled immediately because the opposition were basically waiting for it to happen.

There are good signs there.

If we want to tank, don't play the kids, keep playing Pettifer, McMahon, Bowden, Simmonds and let Deledio have a tag all game. That makes it 13 against 18 on the field.

This really hit home days ago, just how bad this trade was. This is the worst draft/trade move under Wallace, easily!

Sure Tambling over Franklin, Oakley-Nicholls over Clark and Higgins, they are hard to take, but you don't know what you're going to get from the draft. Tambling and Oakley-Nicholls were rated but just didn't turn out.

We knew what we were getting with McMahon. Pick 19 should get you a player that will be easily in your best 22. We're stuck with a guy for another year that should never play again. We could have had a Selwood, Ward, Pears... the list goes on....

The first half was exciting one way or another whereas the 2nd half was dismal.

All the 2nd half did was re emphasise that

McMahon
Pettifer
Simmonds  should definentely not play again this year

Coughlan is way way to slow
Pattison is not up to scratch its as simple as that.
Bowden retire at the end of the year also.
That's 7 from tonights 22.

Add in Brown and Johnson JON Schulz and possibly Richo and you have 12 players that should be delisted that have been regulars in the team this season and in previous seasons.

Go the tank and promote next week to ensure the Eagles get the win and we get them to four wins with a game against us in round 22 to come to get them over the magical number of 4 and stifle their growth slightly.

Vickery Post Hislop Thompson should definentely be considered.

I didnt want McMahon, infact I think this place got pretty interesting at the time we did it, from memory I had a thread on it that suggested the board should VETO the trade before it happened. As for Thomson and Hislop, I wanted Thomson but I definately didnt want Hislop. Both seemed to be the same type of player. The reality with Cogs is the game went past him over the last 3 years and Thomson could probably take that spot ... Hislop I dont know why ... I just dont know

You see all sorts of things when the players aint playing for the coach, they proved they could play football & everyone was doing that in the first half.
Teams dont fold in skills & pace after half a game of football. it will continue till the cull is over. the pain has just began

I'd give Cogs the benefit, is by far from the worst on the list and has only come back after being out of football for a long time.
The other 2, well that's a no brainer for mine.

Hope Graham can coninue his journey and Simmo can join the rest on the way out.

How many is the max we can delist/move on? Doubt many could be moved on as no one would take them!
If we tank would anyone be dumb enough to trade a pick for Pettifer, if he plays out the season and does OK. Probably about the only one we would get something for.
