Got to say I am surprised that Richo isn't on the veterans list - why wouldn't you when it means only half his salary is counted in the TPP

It's got me scratching my head :-\

I wasn't surprised Richo was included within the 38 as it saves us money by not needing to recruit another player for the senior list but was surprised there wasn't a "v" next to his name on the list.

I don't know for certain WP but I heard a rumour a week or so ago that we will have so many kids after this and last year's drafts that to stay above the 92% TPP minimum (that's right I said minimum lol) Richo will have to remain on the seniors list. No big deal really and a bit of a bonus actually because in a couple of years when we need to start paying these kids more money we will have plenty of room under the salary cap to manoeuvre and if Richo is still around we can then move him onto the Veterans' list so that only half his salary counts towards our TPP. Plus Cambo will be retired by then.

lol @ us going from maximum TPP to the minimum in one off-season. Miller and Wallace have truly brought out the big broom  :thumbsup

If that rumour is true MT - that would be fantastic and hilarious in that order. And if we can get rid of Ty then ............ :bow

Must have some spare money if we can put Cambo outside the senior list of 38 and onto the Veteran's list  8). That's changed from what Miller said a few weeks back.

Just a clarification from Greg Miller. Although it's listed now as Cambo being on the Veterans' list and outside the 38, we will be moving him back inside the 38 prior to Christmas. The previous rules didn't allow veterans outside to swap back inside but that was changed this year.

So we now have (this is me now saying this not Greg):

Senior list: 30 spots filled out of a compulsory 38 -> 8 spots free = Picks 1,4,12,16,20,36,52 + PSD  (If Zantuck goes we could also use pick 65 or a second PSD pick).
Rookie list: 1 spot filled (can have up to 6)
