Peer to Peer Assessment.
« on: June 09, 2009, 04:03:40 PM »
Shocked that throughout this year this may not have happened. It was wel publicised that Geelong did it and with horrible leaks at the football club if this has happened I'd assume it would be out as it's a good step forward.

Peer to Peer assessment has worked wonders in numerous sporting codes and teams.

Early 90's Australian Cricket team.
Australias last Davis Cup winning squad
2007 Australian Cricket team before retaining the ashes
Geelong Football Team

It's so obvious that the boys aren't gelling well together for numerous reasons and things need to be said and spoken about. Players that are unhappy where they are player, there role in the side, others roles in the side, the game plan etc.

Just needs to be done and staggered it hasn't happened yet.

Something surely on Jade's radar to do (still feel so weird typing the name Jade and referring it to a man..)
Go Tigers!

All the best teams are both accountable to the game plan and each other. One of the reasons this has not occurred to date is that our more experienced 'leaders' have not been accountable themselves and not setting the on field standard. This could change dramatically now.

I'm sure I heard one of our players on the footy show talking about the fact we'd done this already a year or two ago

Looks like we need to do it again as the concept may have evolved, well one would hope.

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.
