Danyel Pearce - Quick, agile, has a leap and a big motor. This kid's got to be top ten if he has any skills :thumbsup

Nathan Van Berlo - Agile and big motor.  :)

Even if these guys are not the most naturally gifted footballers they might be worth a shot.

Fantastic athletes,   :bow  opinions?

His small size (178cm, 72kg) is what would go against him. Apparently very light so would need a few seasons in the gym before getting a senior game. Sounds like he'll be picked up more as a rookie although footydraft.com have him at pick 56 (4th round). Here's what they say about Pearce: http://www.footydraft.com/players.php?player=danyle_pearce

Also on the light side (74kg). Apparently a good kick and his WAFL stats aren't too bad. Cracked it for 3 senior games with West Perth. footydraft.com have him at pick 49 (late 3rd round pick).

Look these guys might not be able to kick a ball.... but both are heavier than trambling and he is going to go top 4.

Both have played seniors WALF & SANFL.

Get them in the Gym, endurance is harder to develop than size.

And another thing I'd take Roughead before Franklin.

Better to take someone who doesn't want to go home in 3-5 years.

So..... Delagio No1 :thumbsup Roughhead 4 Sharpe 12 Williams 16... :-\ a gamble I know, but I he can tackle. Played in the back line in Rugby Union for his school 20 Lewis......but Bate if he was still available and finally a foward Young or Little.

Williams attributes look great (tall, good agility for his size, booming kick) but for somone who has only been playing footy for past 2 years that's a huge risk. I would rather us play it more conservative with our 4 first round picks.

In the Hun (posted in the U18 draftees thread) it says we've interviewed Franklin (so have the Hawks and Dogs) so we're interested in him. He says coming over to Victoria won't bother him. Has Grandparents and a Uncle here and his parents would eventually come over.

I want all 4: Deledio, Griffen, Tambling and Franklin :banghead
I guess we should just be happy that we are the only club in the position to get 2 of them :rollin
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

Griffen should go before Roughead and they're saying he'll go before our pick 4 which is probably right.

Although it's a great site in terms of info about the possible draftees, these phantom drafts are just an pseudo-educated guess of what may happen on draft day. I wouldn't take the order too seriously especially as after the top 4 the next 20 or so could end up anywhere. The guy(s) that do the ratings are Hawthorn supporters and IMO it shows when you look at the kids they reckon the Hawks will pick up compared to what the believe we'll select.
