I don't thin we should make many changes. We need to give players like Edwards, JON, Hislop, Vickery more time in the team to see if they can cut the mustard than 1 or 2 weeks. Players like JON are playing for more than their spot in the team, they are playing for their careers.

Also helps with our 2009 draft options too :shh

So...

In: Andy Collins (back from illness and missed in the midfield
Out: JON

Vickery and Silvester to continue

If McGuane's knee doesn't come up, then Wilbur might be a chance, but to have two newbors in the back half at the same time is a big ask.

Pretty much agree with Muscles.  I know we are supposed to be tanking but JON is just to painful to watch, you feel the need to perform disturbing acts after watching him go around.  Maybe we could bring him back for the close games, ie West Coast and Melbourne

Maybe also a holiday for Cotch - depends on the match review panel, but the Fox Sports commentators said it was a pretty stupid thing to do.  I think they called it a kidney punch - but by the way Cotch ran around yesterday, I'd think a break might do him good anyway.

Out   JON  Edwards Cotchin either susp or dropped he is looking lost at the moment. I think RFC syndrome has struck him down at the moment.

In     Post Collins Thompson (Lets see what he can and can't do)

Play the kids Play the kids Play the kids.

All I don't want to see is a kid dropped for a player of the ilk of a Brown Bowden or Simmonds as a perception that their inclusion would limit the damage on the scoreboard. Jake please play the kids.

OUT: Cotchin- I don't know the kid but it looks like he is reading his own press. 2 weeks in the reserves.
JON- experiment officially over
Hislop- not up to AFL standard and more AFL experience isn't going to help that.

IN: Thompson
King
and hopefully Collins

Experience is a good school. But the fees are high.

Cotchin won't be out through suspension anyway, form maybe.

Trent Cotchin, Richmond, has been charged with a Level Two striking offence against Jarryn Geary, St Kilda, during the third quarter of the Round 13 match between Richmond and St Kilda, played at Docklands on Sunday June 28, 2009.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record with an early plea.

The incident was assessed as intentional conduct (three points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has no good or bad record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.

 * Polak is playing 3rds... I do not reckon he is going to help Richmond much
 * Thomson needs to do something for Coburg sometime soon
 * King? The only way we could make our skills worse would be to bring him back

Collins & White are needed.
