Richmond will wear black armbands in Saturday’s Round 15 clash with Carlton at the MCG, as a mark of respect for the Club’s No. 1 female ticket-holder Diana Jones, AM, who passed away last weekend after a battle with illness.
Diana had been the Tigers’ No. 1 female ticket-holder since early this decade – and it was a role she carried out with distinction.
Diana’s significant charity work throughout the wider community was recognised in the 1993 Queen’s Birthday honors, when she was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia.
The Club extends its deepest sympathy to David, Peter, Vicky, Richard and the rest of Diana’s family.
