Froars, i think we attract the supporter base now that loves that bitchy, stab in the back culture Im starting to think that is becoming fashionable in some weird sense to barrack for us because we are perrennial losers

Yes, it's very frustrating seeing people get so angry with everything
I don't blame them because they've put up with a lot
But we still have to think with our heads and realise that no matter how frustrated we are, infighting won't help us.
Here's a suggestion
Like they did for the 2020 summit, why doesn't Richmond have its own summit and really thrash out the issues of why we're in the position we're in.
You have supporter representatives, past players, media, web sites, present players, everyone
I don't think it's as stupid as it may sound to some people
We really are quite hopeless at being a professional club
We stumble from one mistake to another
I am proud though that the club appears to be not listening to the factions and going ahead with the coaching process as they should, each candidate heard on their merits, but we still have the stuff happening in the background that causes the infighting.
We need to solve all these problems

March is not the only one making the decision on the coach, there are others involved

Because he pulled out, thats why! He knows he aint up to it anymore!If he thinks he is so good then he should go ahead with it anyway. Truth is Sheedy doesnt want to go through the process as he feels as though he is above it and the current process of selecting coaches is completely different to when he went for the essendon job. The process highlights his inadequacies and the enormity of the job! Sorry to upset a few,but you are all quick to say that TW was in it for the money, then why didnt sheeds come back and help out a club he purports to love when we were at our lowest financially? Because of the money, he was in it for himself; like everyone else in the  coaching game!

I suspect we'll have an old boys club running us next year
And no doubt they'll hate whoever we pick as coach and it will keep on going
If we get Malthouse he might be a coach they'd support - well you would hope but no guarantees

It wouldn't surprise me if the club sent out a letter to all the candidates giving them a list of what they were expected to put together for the selection process, Sheedy saw it and thought it was all a bit much so pulled out.

I cant understand all the doom and gloom.

Despite winning only one game I think the last month has been very positive and pro active.

We have played three pretty handy teams for a combined losing margin 93 pts.Not a bad result when you consider the Rawness of our team.......We had 17 players who had played less than 50 games against Carlton.

Over the last 3 weeks we have won the final quarter every time which means the boys are not dropping their heads like previous Richmond teams.Showing Character.Better to kick goals in junk time than to concede them.

My biggest concern at the moment is our lack of scoreboard pressure when we are on top... Really hurt us yesterday and in the first quarter against the saints.(not that we were any chance)

Vickery looks a good long term prospect.
