So he was able to force the clubs hand with Cuz but was unable to use the same tactics (whatever they were) to force their hand on him.
Hmmm, strange one that. Given the stakes are higher with him, you'd think the tactics used to get Cuzzy were a practise run.
Or it could be an absurd hypothetical from a jilted lover.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Dont toot your horn just yet. March's preferred candidate has always been Campbell.

I never said anything about Campbell

What i was replying to was Jack's comment that March had some vendetta against Sheeds because of Cousins. I said that on the Cousins thing Jack is wrong.... so I don't understand how Campbell got dragged into it  ;D

I cant understand all the doom and gloom.

Despite winning only one game I think the last month has been very positive and pro active.

We have played three pretty handy teams for a combined losing margin 93 pts.Not a bad result when you consider the Rawness of our team.......We had 17 players who had played less than 50 games against Carlton.

Over the last 3 weeks we have won the final quarter every time which means the boys are not dropping their heads like previous Richmond teams.Showing Character.Better to kick goals in junk time than to concede them.

My biggest concern at the moment is our lack of scoreboard pressure when we are on top... Really hurt us yesterday and in the first quarter against the saints.(not that we were any chance)

Vickery looks a good long term prospect.
Post looks like he could be the second comming of Matthew Richardson.
Tambling playing like a true pick 4
Cotchin still to do a pre season
Richo and Cuz hardly played in the same team
Plenty of quality applicants for the vacant coaching position

I may be optomistic fool but I can see plenty of light.

Well put :thumbsup -the most sensible post i have read on this forum for a long time :clapping

I understand where you are coming from mat073, up until this week just gone I was on the same train of thought

But just at the minute I am so sick of losing, so sick of the factions causing trouble, so sick of egomaniacs sooking becuase they aren't getting their own way (read KS) and I am just at a point where I am seriously starting not to care about this club.

And trust me for me not to care about my beloved Tigers is not a good thing....

WP you bleed yellow and blabk like the rest of us on here. And like the rest of us you want the pain to stop and the success to start its just that we all have different opinion on how to best get this to happen.

I, like you, am sick of having friends give it to me about how bad we are as a team and club and reading negative article after negative media report. I think this is why all the positive media surrounding  Cousins and our finals chances at the start of the year was so exciting and also why we have all come crashing down so hard.

I still believe that success is just around the corner but it will have to wait until our list is mature enough and we have built a team orientated game plan. I just hope our players can fufill their potential for the first part and new coach can deliver on the latter part.

I only know you from this forum WP but I don't think their would be much that could turn you from your beloved tigers!  :gotigers

I will always follow them and I will always be a member but I just feeling so not interested.

For the first time ever I am seriously considering whether I should just go the normal membership route in 2010 as opposed to the "premium" one I have now plus the extra 2 I have on top of the premium.

I am sure it will pass but for now I can't shake this feeling of being over it and sick of it

Still a lot of work to do and we're only halfway through the rebuilding process (there's that word again lol) on and off-field but there's plenty to be positive about. Keep the faith!  :thumbsup

When you volunteer your time and you work hard for it to see it grow, the last thing you want to see is people who say they support the club actually try and tear it down.

I haven't done a thing for the club for nearly 10 years, but I feel that any effort I made in the past to make it a better place has just been wasted when we have such instability,

I know you've worked for the club doing bits and pieces here and there, so I know where your heart is and what it would mean to you to see people trashing the brand like we've done this year.

It hasn't stopped.  If it's not people from within trying to ruin the club, it's the media never getting off our case.

I'm not sure even us playing in a grand final would make me feel any different  :help
