.... Debuted for Fitzroy in 1985 and went on to play 135 games in his eight seasons with the Lions before joining North in 1993. While he could play as a ruck-rover, half-forward or on the flanks, he was one of the club's best taggers. He won two premierships (1996 & 1999) and two pre-season cups (1995 & 1998) with the Kangaroos, while he represented Victoria in the 1998 State of Origin. In 2000 he came third in the club's best and fairest and showed no signs of his 35 years when he played all 22 games the following year before retiring at the end of 2002 having played 359 games. In his first year of retirement he was lured to the Brisbane Lions by Leigh Matthews and tasted immediate success when the Lions won their third successive premiership in 2003. After four seasons with Brisbane he has moved south to join his ex-teammates in Paul Roos, John Longmire and Brett Allison as a Swans assistant coach in charge of the forwards .....
